Question Have You Been Hit By The Cold & Flu

Everyone around us seems to be sick with something. Hasthe cold & flu viruses hit your family yet this season? My daughter had the stomach flu for a bit, I felt achy all over, my boys have been fighting fever and body chills and I not sure about my husband. Thankfully we haven't had to go to the doctor's as of yet. But I am sur ethat will come soon.

Default Been Lucky

I've been really lucky so far. I had a flu shot in the fall but I've heard that it won't protect us from the strain of flu that is going around. I was really worried because I had surgery the end of February and didn't want to get the flu after surgery. I'm glad I didn't get it!

I'm half afraid to post in this thread. My family has been extremely lucky so far this year.*Knocks on wood.* My daughter had a flu shot and has had an ear ache once this winter. We think she's getting another though. We were moreless dealing with her cutting 5 teeth at once.

My hubby and I get sinus drainage but nothing as bad as other years. I have a little drainage behind my ears at the moment.Thats when I ear candle them though.I should be good again soon.Mines mostly due to the weather changes. It's been up and down around here this winter.

I had the flu in early February, right when everyone else in my office got it too. We were calling it the office plague. They said that this was one of the worst flu seasons in recent history. I guess because they messed up with predicting which strain to use for the vaccination.

I haven't really been sick, since sometime in 2005. I've only had a few minor issues since then, like a runny nose, a cough, or migraines, but they have all been stuff that I make it through in just a couple of days without needing to go to the doctor.

My 2 year old was sick once earlier this winter. It's actually the only time he has ever been sick, when it wasn't related to shots and/or teething.

My husband is a whole different story, though! lol He gets sick 3-4 times each year, and acts like it's the end of the world each time of course!
