Default Did everyone have a good weekend?

We went to Macon, GA for the Cherry Blossom Festival. Unfortunately, the weather was kind of bad so they ended up cancelling a lot of it. We still had a good time though!

Anybody else do something fun?

We did a few errands. Then my mom watched my daughter. My husband and I then went to dinner at my favorite restraunt. It was nice and relaxing.I love my daughter but I'm with her all the time.It was nice to have some alone time with my hubby even just for dinner. We rented a movie and watched that when she went to bed. Then Sunday we picked up a computer desk that was given to me.My mom's one coworker is in the process of moving and gave my mom and table set and us the desk. They wanted to get rid of some other items but we didn't need a t.v. stand. I love my desk though! I was using my craft table at the moment since my MIL broke my desk when we moved out.So, I'm really enjoying the cabinets, file folder compartments and other features on this one. Plus...whats better then a free desk in great shape?
We spent Sunday cleaning, putting the desk together and relaxing.

My husband and I got to have a date night also! It was the first time we've been out just the two of us since our daughter has been born six months ago! We went to a fondue restaraunt and had an amazing time!

It is a lot of fun, and a great place to go for date night because it takes a really long time. You can actually buy a fondue kit and do fondue at your house - there are a ton of recipes online!

We have a pot for main courses and another pot we use for cheese and/or chocolate.

We do have a fondue pot and that at home. We dont use it to often though. Usually I make a cheese dip. The one I have takes a tealight to use.I have another one but it's packed away some where.I just think it would fun to go somewhere else and see what it's about.Especially since even though I can find recipes online I probally couldn't make them turn out as well.

This weekend was wonderful! It was one of those that makes you feel like your still dating instead of married. Something as small as driving around while your daughter is napping in her carseat and talking about life and taking in a few is what sparked this moment this weekend.A kiss to the forehead and the I love you's that followed. I love my hubby. We ran errands yesterday and got my daughter a few clothes due to a growth spurt. Then today my mom watched our daughter so we could reorginize and tackle some things we can't do with her into everything. I got alot accomplished and I'm happy about that. I still wish I could've got more done though.
