Default Wristlets? Your Thoughts

What are your thoughts on the wristlets? I am not to sure if I like them. They are pretty but would I acutally use it. I don't know. I would have to actually see them with something that I was going to wear for the evening.

I like the wristlets, since Im not very much of a big bag carrier. I particularly like the Burberry floral and the Knoll Murphy by Abbey Branch. The Gucci ones are nice too.

I like big bags a lot more, and I always fear that I would set the wrislet down and just forget it.

I've always feared that as well, Imagine leaving your wristlet behind with your money and keys, or your small essentials. How scary!

I agree. I have to have a big bag. Otherwise I am more than likely to lay the wristlet down and walk away and forget all about it. I am sure that they are very elegant for parties and dances.

I just saw the Juicy Couture leather wristlet on the homepage. It looks so pretty. I wish I could have that one too for Christmas.

I've got to carry a huge bag but wristlets are cute for going out...especially if you want to dance.

Wristlets are so cute.

I don't have one yet but I am planning to get one in the near future. I visited Gucci's website and I saw a really cute one. I think it's around $350. I might force my mom to buy me one. Hehe.

When I was in my 20's, fresh out of college and working at my first professional full-time job, I was the youngest social worker among other women who were pretty much in their 40's and older. I used to joke around that the size of a woman's bag is relative to the woman's age - and I usually carried around a tiny little pouch with a cross-body shoulder strap just for keys, lipstick, gum and small wallet.

Now here I am carrying not one but sometimes two big bags! And I do still think that carrying a small bag or wristlet is very youthful-looking. Us older gals with complicated busy lives who commute/travel and/or have children need to have everything with us at all times so we probably prefer tote-size bags for every day use.

But if I were heading out to dinner, movies or dancing... then I'd carry a really small shoulder bag in black just big enough for my PDA smartphone, driver's license, one credit card and lipstick.

I agree Elaine130. I carry larger bags just for that reason, I work, am a Mom and need everything with me. Everytime I switch to a smaller bag, I leave the house and find out I needed something that's in the bigger bag, so I just stick with the larger bags!

I actually carry two wristlets in my handbag. One contains my blotting powder and a few lipsticks and the other carrys extra cards that I don't want in my wallet (i.e, discount cards, gift cards, etc.).
