Default Advice?

I am a, um, bigger lady. I had a child over a year ago and have yet to drop the weight. I am still nursing, so weight loss has to be sensible and the in the meantime, I could use some tips and advise on what would minimize my ample posterior and big bosom!

I weigh about 185 and have large thighs too. Colours, cuts of clothes, that sort of thing would be helpful.

Current fashions are really not good for anyone but the super thin. Skinny jeans? Leggings? Not pretty on me, and probably a lot of others.

Your best bet is to find clothes that fit well. If they are too small, they just show off every bulge. If they are too big, you just look larger than you are. Find a pair of well-fitting black pants and they will be your best friend.

You know I have big hips and great calves. I just had a baby and I wear the leggings with the long tee and the flare a bit. Here is one so you know what am talking about. They are great for hiding fat trust me I know.

Wear darker jeans. Not the lighter colored jeans, dark always makes people look thinner.

Hi! I also had that problem after giving birth before. The best wardrobes that do work are blouses that are longer than your waistlevel and also choose dark colors, like black and navy blue. Trust me, you will look good even with that figure.

go for something that has an empire wasit or an attention drawing accent to the narrowest part of your torso (usually right under the bustline). Stay away from big v-necks as they just bring attention to the bust.

Straight leg, dark wash jeans are your best bet. And if you want a skirt, go for something a-line that doesn't hug the body.

Try to stay away from things that are too big, as they only make you look bigger than you are.

Oh, and pointy toe shoes - even flats will lenghen and slim your legline.
