I love shopping at thrift stores.I usually shop at Goodwill on line and just got a brand new Fossil drawstring leather bag for $4.00.My husband and I went to a Goodwill store in Kissimmee and found a brand new Liz Claiborne patent leather bag for $2.99.
I'm not to proud to say that I shop thrift.

I went to the Goodwill and found a Dooney & Bourke purse but was an old brown one with green on it. It wouldn't sell for anything and I wouldn't carry it.

If it was in bad shap i wonder why they put it out for sale? You would think they would trash it but who knows.Maybe there is someone out there that would buy it.

This was just not anything would buy. It looked just really used and not taken care of. Atleast not the way I would take care of my bags.

You will have better or worse chances of finding designer buys depending on how up market the area that the consignment store is in. In DC where I used to live we had beautiful stores with wonderful stuff-but here in hicksville it is pretty tired stuff.

I've never considered buying a bag from a thrift store. I love buying from a boutique or my local Neiman's or Nordstroms.

Yeah, I usually do. Though I have tried looking for high-end consignment shops in the area, but I never got around to going...
