Oscars Fashion Report: Best-Dressed

Let’s face it - the real reason we watch the Oscars every year is to ogle the fancy dresses, and this year Hollywood’s leading ladies didn’t disappoint. Of course, there were plenty of train wrecks, but plenty of starlets workedb in dazzling gowns that left me tingling with jealousy. Nominee Penelope Cruz was stunning in her Versace gown, a pale pink frothy number that stole the show. Reese Witherspoon also glowed in a sexy strapless deep purple Nina Ricci dress and a new hairstyle. Style critics were mixed on Gwyneth Paltrow’s peachy Zac Posen gown, but I thought the color suited her fair skin and the construction was top-notch. Rachel Weisz’s metallic satin Vera Wang gown recalled 1940s Hollywood glamour, while Nicole Kidman returned to her fashion icon form with a daring bright red Balenciaga gown that was

Definitely Reese Witherspoon looked absolutely fantastic, beautiful dress.

I think Reese looked the best of them all in her dress; the only question I have is what is up with the bags under her eyes? I assume it was supposed to be a smoky sexy look but it just made her look old and tired. Smoky shadow goes on the eye LID.

I wasn't feeling Nicole's dress. The color seemed harsh with her fair skin.

i must say divorce made reese a very beautiful woman...hehehe

i didnt like Nicole Kidman's dress....specially the large bow part...the colour was cool thoh, Penelope's dress was amazing and Reese's dress was quite out of this world...

I noticed the same thing, looks like she accidently got mascara on her face under her bottom lashes and forgot clean it up before she left. Even with that, she still looked good.

Again, I agree, I think Nicole's red dress didn't compliment her complection, another shade of red may have been better.

hmm..nicole looked beautiful to me...she always looks regal and elegant.. but she does look better in lighter colors like pink...or green...
