Oscars Fashion Report: The Clutches

On Oscar night, every starlet needs a trusty - but fabulous - clutch to stow her lipstick, compact, cell phone, and acceptance speech. It’s always tricky pairing the right bag with a show-stopping ballgown, but several actresses pulled it off. Supporting actress nominee Rinko Kikuchi decided against playing it safe and carried an embellished slim red clutch to offset her black sequined gown, which worked well. Isla Fisher went for a larger envelope-sized black satin clutch, while Jessica Biel carried a very petite beaded black bag. Cameron Diaz chose a slim white clutch to match her white dress, while Kate Winslet was one of many starlets to been seen with a gold clutch.

this year's oscar dresses were a bit boring...but the clutches were beautiful....the dresses lacked impact...
