It’s a shame that most of America knows Yohji Yamamotgner only for his Adidas collaborative Y-3 collection. It captures none of the stunning architectural aspects of his main collection. As usual, the majority of the collection is made in somber, dark (well, black) colors. This minimalistic palette is effective in showing the vast range of silhouettes coming down the runway. Some of the pieces look like the size of a house, but most of the pieces are sharply cut, exquisitely tailored and timeless.

i love that 3rd pic...the ruffles..the structure..it's minimalist but very striking and fascinating...the designer is very typical of yohji yamamoto
