How much is the most expensive handbag you ever bought?

Ohh, $598.00 ($633.88 with tax!)!!! I brought it home and then retured it the next day. I Just couldn't bring myself to put my things in it, it was a lot of money to me. I'm one that carries one bag for a while (3 months maybe) and then I'll change to another one. But, then I received my invitation to the Coach sale and got it 25% off which brought it down to $475.41 (including tax). That I could handle and I love the bag. It is classic and I will be able to use it for years!

$680. I have the large Burberrry tote. It was a fortune but I love it. I do not think I would ever buy a burberry bag again though... Not so good quality. For that money I would buy Louis Vuitton!

$239 for my Coach Leather Mia Satchel! Before that, I got my Fendi on ebay five years ago for a whopping $234 - which was the biggest splurge.

I just bought a Louis Vuitton Speedy 25 bag for $633 (with tax.) Made my ears burn when I bought it... but I love the bag!

Hey ctlawyer - I totally relate to the ears burning experience! What is it caused by? Blood rush to the brain, or perhaps the Superego having a fist fight with the Id inside the brain over such a momentous decision?? I did the same when I impulsively bought my Chloe paddington... oh the pain and the pleasure!

I got the Monogram Speedy....I love it!! I will be eating oatmeal until Christmas though... hahaha... worth every penny. I guess it's a good thing I like oatmeal :-)

haha...well put it this way...you got a very stylish handbag and you are going to lose weight...(because you now only have money for oatmeal)...see you got the best of both worlds!!! a hot bag and a hot body! haha

Haha- that's a great point... I didn't even think of that.. woo hoo :-) Now if I could get my husband to stop making faces at the bag everytime he sees it (haha) I'll be set.

850 for a Chloe Chocolate Paddy! I hope that it's worth the money... I'm expecting it to arrive by FedEx today. I had a dream last night that I received it and it was a white fabric bag with no handles and a padlock on top. I must have incorporated an image I saw in a handbag review of a celebrity (Uma?) holding a "body bag" type purse that's sorta bigger than a clutch. So in my dream I was furious and devastated and really up s***'s creek. So I woke up this morning thinking that I must sell some of my old bags on ebay - or possibly this paddy if I don't absolutely lovelovelove it.

We ALL know that face! I was at an LV boutique last night helping my mom pick out a bag that my siblings and I were contributing to for her bday. She ended up buying the gorgeous Damier Highbury because she prefers a shoulder bag and likes them big. Well, it had a big price, too! When we left the store and met up with my dad, he asked her how much and she told him. I shoulda photographed my dad's expression

but I defended my mom and told her that she is worth every penny!

Speaking of splurge, my husband said I really should sell some of my Dooney and Coach bags since I bought that Louis. So... I am selling some of them that I never used or only used once or twice... I put them up on the Buy or Sell section of this forum. I don't want to sell them on ebay because ebay makes you use Paypal and I am not comfortable with giving Paypal bank information (which is required.) Think I'll have any luck selling them?

$2360 for my Prada gauffre satchel...Even my Chanels weren't that expensive!! And I'm on the brink of ordering a Marc Jacobs blake blake w/ gold h/w & brown suede lining..AND the matching zip clutch..UGH!!! I just paid of all my bills and here I go again..
