Are you too Materialistic?

What do you girls think? Personally I think a girl deserves nice things, but so many people are against it and criticise people with expensive goods such as bags, clothes, and everything else. What do you all think?

I believe that if it doesn't rule your life you aren't. Also, I believe that if you judge someone on the basis of what they wear or what brands they have on.. then you can be considered very materialistic.

I think that every woman deserves the best, though.

I think everyone deserves the best whether it be men or women....

When ever someone makes a comment about my bag or bridal set I like to tell them I'm blessed!

My husband would say spoiled!!!!

I do believe though, brands shouldn't rule your life, but I think its human nature to get the I wants! You just need to distinguish the I wants from the I needs.

i think as long as you pay for your material goods and not ask from your family or boyfriend...its perfectly fine....as long asyou desrve it for working so hard!!

I agree and as long as you're not spending more than you earn, you're safe. It's nice to have beautiful things every once in a while.

they are againts it because so many others are suffering i understand their point but it doesn't mean that i will no longer enjoy myself

I think one shouldn't bother about what people think about such things. All they are is jealous about not having the nice stuff and cannot see others being happy...

I personally would not care what other people think because it's my own money and I work hard for it. If I want to indulge myself with nice things that makes me happy every once in a while, then who are they to judge me??

At the end of the day, everyone have their own little ways of indulging or pampering themselves, be it a bag of chips, skincare, handbags, or whatever. As long as it makes them feel good and won't get them into troubles or hurt anyone, then it's perfectly OK.

I agree with you completely. And giving a gift to yourself isn't that bad as long as you know your limits. Just do not overspend your money to the point of having an obsession!

i agree with everyone....it's like telling people not to buy high end cars, at least with a bag it's not as big and showy! hehe

haha...i dont know why but i just love bags !!

I'm not materialistic... My only obsession is Coach. I stopped working a few years ago so I'm a SAHM. I have purchased some items myself and others have been gifts. I believe as long as you have your priorities in order and taken care of, there is nothing wrong with treating yourself.

as long as you work hard for it and you are not sinking in debt its totally ok
