My new find....really
My husband and I were taking our last walk around our apartment complex before moving from Michigan to Florida, with our dog,Bessie. So she decidedto take a short cut through a field next to our parking lot.Now I happen to be a walking accident.Naturally I stumbled over a root from a tree and lost my footing and fell.I thought I saw something shiny that had been embedded in the dirt, and looked like was there for quite a while.I stuffed the thing in my pocket and finished Bessie's walk.
When I got home,I soaked my new find in some warm soapy water. When it was cleaned...OMG!!!! I almost fainted.I found a sterling silver Tiffany&Co heart bracelet. It says Tiffany&Co right on the heart. So I posted a found ad and stuck it by the mailbox in our unit hoping someone would claim it.No one did.Now normally at the time,we couldn't afford to buy it because all of our money went into a Uhaul truck. The clasp was a little bent...but it is mine.

Congratulations on your find. Enjoy the braclet! You're a lucky girl!!! I have (had) the heart toggle necklace (until it was stolen 2 years ago! ) It took me years to get that necklace! Anyway, funny thing - I was just on the Tiffany web site before coming here today and thought maybe I'd buy myself a little treat! Can't decide which necklace I like best, don't want to buy the same one I had. Such delimas!! hehe

Wow, you're so lucky!
I bet the person who lost it is really upset. It was really nice and honest of you to post an ad first to let someone come forward to claim it. Most people wouldn't have done that.
Can you wear it as is, or do you need to get that clasp fixed?
