My little girl likes to play with her purses at home; she calls them her "surprise" bags and stuffs them with all sorts of toys, knicknack and of course her lip glosses. But when we go out, she really doesn't like to carry or wear them! Sometimes she will wear a backpack - you can try that. There are some really cute character backpacks (love the Hello Kitty one) in the Barnes and Noble kids' section. Or sometimes a cross body bag will work (an outfit of hers came with one). But as for the little handbags, forget it! I'd say keep it small so you can pick it up wherever she left it and put it into your own purse or stroller basket! And keep it inexpensive because if (or rather
when) she loses it, say at the mall or park, then it won't be too heartbreaking for her but especially for you! Payless also has some cute little bags, too. And of course there's Gymboree in the mall where they have adorable bags that match adorable outfits AND shoes AND hair accessories AND socks or tights! but it's much more pricey. Let us know what you decide, britjojo!
