Ok I would like to know the difference between an authentic designer bag such as Chanel and replicas?I know there is a huge difference between replicas and counterfeit bags.Anyone care to elaborate,please?Thanks.

replicas only copies the designs and slightly changing it a bit and not use the name but counterfeits are copying exactly the design and using the name, that's how i understand it

Oh no I'm not buying any fakes!!!!The reason I am asking is because I live in Florida and there are two flea markets who sell "designer"bags:Fendi,Gucci,and yes...Chanel.My mom when she was down here visiting was going to buy a beautiful Chanel purse,but something in the back of my head said don't buy it.But I found out a month ago that one of the flea markets got busted for selling counterfeit designer bags.
But I was wondering how do you "know"if that bag is real,a replica or a fake.I just read something on eBay about how to tell if a Chanel bag is geniune and it said on one end of the C's there should be a small letter "g" to indicate its authenticity.
OMG!!!!I would never stoop so low as to buy a fake bag.I was just curious.

Elaine I was shocked at the video on counterfeit luxury items.That video was an eye opener.Thank you.Know I know that it is ok to buy 1 fake,but no more than that.But I wouldn't buy that "in" bag unless I buy it from a store that sells them.
