Default Bag, Borrow or Steal

Has anyone ever used Bag, Borrow or Steal? What was your experience?

My teen daughter wants a membership, but I'd like to hear what people have to say about it first.

hi! i've never given it a try, but it's my understanding that you have to pay a flat monthly membership fee, as well as a fee for renting the particular bag you're interested in. imo, it could be useful if you're looking to buy a bag but want to test drive it before you commit. however, i'd personally much rather set a certain amount of money aside each month into a "purse fund" and buy my own bag instead of paying fees to borrow--after a while of borrowing, you could have probably bought a new bag for the amount of money you had to pay!

IMO....it wouldn't be worth it because I would want to keep it and not return it.I would rather save my money and as Laura said, set aside some money for a "purse fund" to save up for the special bag that I have always wanted. But this is my two cents.

It's a good idea if you want to switch bags very frequently. However, everytime I have gone to their website, the bags that I would be interested in are always on waitlist. I agree with DianneMK and Laura, I would put aside money in a "purse fund". Just my opinion though.

I think they also offer a "steal it" program. You can keep a bag you have on loan by purchasing it at some discount. It could kind of act as a bag fund. I'm not sure how big the discount is though. If you give it a try let us know how it goes. I've been tempted to sign up a few times.

I've heard good things about it, although I'm not a member myself. I actually read a rave review about it recently and came here intending to start a thread asking if anyone had used it.

I have no idea how good the discounts are, but I do believe that it is a reputable company, so if you're just using it for the rentals you should be fine.
