I've been to a Dooney & Bourke outlet and a Coach outlet. Does anyone know if there are any other designer bag outlets out there?

how big approximately is the difference between buying from the outlets and buying in the stores..?

At the D&B Outlet, they have most of their purses, just a small percentage off -- but then they also have usually one or 2 styles or colors that are 60% or 70% off.

My daughter's first D&B purse came from an outlet and was 70% off.

I've only been to one Coach outlet and the highest percentage off I saw on purses was 40%. But they also had other products (wallets, scarves, umbrellas) up to 50% off.

Dior and Gucci have company stores in premium outlets. I bought a Dior Trotter Romantique Boston Bag for $435 - by phone order - I think it was 1/3 off the retail. Many times these company stores will also have additional sales - probably for Memorial Day!

wow that's big savings...outlets are a hassle to go to but with those big savings its totally worth it!

Thanks for that! I just saw that the prime outlets I will be passing on my way to my parents on friday. There is a Coach outlet YAY! Maybe on our way home I'll stop there and check it out.

Once you enter that Coach factory store, you'll feel like you died and went to heaven! Seriously!!! You can sometimes even find bag currently in Coach retail stores that were returned to the factory store and quite possibly, marked down! I found a gorgeous white legacy shoulder bag that I almost went for... but instead got my brown mia soho satchel.

My husband told me we can stop there on our way home on monday! YAY! I'm looking for the Coach tote 10445. I don't want to spend like $300.00 for it so maybe I can find it at the outlet. If not there is always ebay!
