Incredible find
I needed some new sandles for the summer and I just happened to find some that are perfect. I really got lucky because they perfectly match my new purse. Don't you just love it when this happens?

I live in Southeast TX, so I am able to wear sandles most of the year also, I have lived in colder states and let me tell you, it's good to be home in Texas, I hated the colder climates.

I'm with you, Angel! I do hate the snow and cold weather. Plus, weather changes really bring out my arthritis. But I must say that I love to see the color change and wearing warmer clothes in Fall and I love the advent of Spring! Basically, I'd really like to live in San Diego where the weather's perfect year-round. Then I go north to Taho if I miss cooler weather. But who could afford San Diego???

Hey Elaine, I know this is wandering off the topic, but all the sudden about two months ago I started getting massive pain in my right hand for no apparent reason, I've been told this is arthritis, but haven't talked to my Dr. about it just yet. I'm in my late 30's so could this be arthritis? Truthfully I don't know what arthritis feels like so I'm clueless.

Hi Fizz! Well, I'm no doctor so I do hope you get your hand evaluated soon because it could be so many things, such as carpal tunnel syndrome or it could simply be ergonomics - like are you sitting at your computer with your elbow at 90 degrees while using the keyboard or mouse?
I'm 38 and I have 2 bulging disks in my neck from a car collision 14 yrs. ago so I suffer headaches and spasms in my back. But then this past winter when I started having severe pains in my wrists as well as joint pains in my hips and groin, I went to the doctor to see if it was indeed arthritis, why was I getting it a "young" age (HA!) and should I take anything other than 3 advil in the am?
The doctor told me that everyone eventually gets arthritis and it can reveal itself at any time - like if you injured yourself from a fall when you were 10 years old, that joint may not develop arthritis until you're 50, or older, or it could arise when you're in your 20's! What an eye opener that was for me! So whenever one of my children takes a tumble, I cringe because I hope and pray they don't get terrible aches and pains like their mother does.
Another thing too is that if you have any kind of depression, I know that it does lead to body pains. A friend of mine has suffered so long with aches everywhere and when she started taking this new med, cymbalta, she woke up for the first time without any aches - it was a miracle! So like the commercial says, "Sometimes, depression hurts."
I'd say keep track of when the right hand started bothering you, how often, how long, if you have extra stress, did you strain/injure it at some point, and then do see your doctor. At the very least, physical or maybe occupational therapy would do you good! I still do p.t. every so often and it's nice to feel relief and also have an hour to myself without the kids : ) Hope you feel better, Fizz!

That happened to me once (finding shoes that matched my purse). That was great. I got them at totally different stores.

Thanks Elaine, somehow I knew you would have some intelligent advice, even if my question and concerns weren't clearly defined. I had no idea that depression could affect you that way. I know that it could cause physical problems, just not that kind. What bothers me the most about this pain is that to my knowledge I didn't injure my hand. Truthfully I have seen my Dr since it started, but with all the issues about my migraine treatments I was hesitant to go through another problem with him.

I couldn't even tell you how many shoes, sandles, slippers, boots, etc that I own. I have a major addiction. Not so long ago my husband challenged me to go one whole month without buy a pair of shoes, it was a dreadful month, lol. Then when I bought my new sandles, without my daughter being there she called me a weiner because I went without her, lol. I've passed on my addiction.

I was the same way Dianne, couldn't wear any kind of a heel, until I discovered mules. I find them as comfortable as any flat.

I love being able to find matching accessories. That makes the outfit complete. Like when your jewelry and purse and shoes all match, it brings whatever you are wearing all together. Congrats
