What's the deal with Vera Bradley?

I've been seeing those Vera Bradley bags around a lot lately. What is the deal with them? Are they popular? Does anyone currently own one?

IMO...I think they are ugly.My mom carries one.Yuck.I just guess it is an individuals personal choice.

I have one. I love them. I think they have been very popular for some time. Princess Diana (back when she was dating Prince Charles) used to carry very similar styled bags.

A lot of girls at my college use them to tote books around. IMO, the patterns are to "cutesy" for everyday use, but I have 2 overnight type totes by VB that I've had for years. They've held up very well and are very useful. VB also has an adorable dog carrier on her website that I would consider if I could find a pattern that suited my tastes.

They are quite popular in the spring, summer and fall due to their colorful patterns, several ladies often ask for them. They have a warehouse a few miles from me and the ladies flocks to the place.

I don't have any but I've admired some. I have family members who carry VB almost exclusively. There are some really cute designs out there, and they are like a cult phenomenon in some places here.

I love them. They are great for traveling and I use them a lot when going to the beach.
