buying authentic handbags

hello ladies I know i lot of ladies who tote fake bags such as coach and lv.so they ask me why pay so much.but the truth is it is cheaper to buy authentic bags than a fake because most fake bags can run anywhere from 50.00 to 200.00 dollar so why go out that way when you have dicounts stores(ross) and ebay and other stores.I just don't understand.
