Marc Jacobs "Dr. Q Groovee" & Kenneth Cole "Bottoms Up" satchels

Has anyone seen these bags in person? Please give some insight on the quality of these bags...are they as nice as they appear in photos?

Well I could not wait for anyone to reply to me about these 2 bags, so I checked them out myself.

Kenneth Cole “Bottoms Up” bag was very disappointing...the leather was very thin, felt really cheap...I guess it was for $298, however I expected better. The photo online makes the bag look really cool.

Now the GOOD NEWS!! Marc Jacobs delivered a GRREEAATTT bag AGAIN with the “Groovee Dr. Q” satchel...I saw all of the colors..Tan, Chocolate, & Bordeaux (deep/rich burgundy color). I totally fell in LOVE with the Bordeaux color & called several stores (even Marc Jacobs store) to try & find it since the stores I visited (Bloomingdales, Nordstroms, & Neiman Marcus) only had the tan color in this style bag but there were other bags in the different colors, so at least I knew I wanted it in Bordeaux. I just got my Groovee satchel today & I am LOVING it ...the price was only $498 & the leather is very rich & soft. The photos online do NOT clearly show how nice this bag is...something you will want to keep forever & wear everyday!! Don't worry about it being pebbled leather, it's NOT very noticeable since the leather is very soft...great for work & play! Plus I am a sucker for the extra detachable strap, so you can hold it in your hand as a satchel (w/o the strap) or over the shoulder with the longer strap.

Enjoy your new bag. I have also seen the Bordeaux color and it is so deep and rich. Quite beautiful. You can't go wrong with Marc by Marc Jacobs!
