Default Would You Buy a Knockoff?

I am asking because I have a friend who buys them regularly and she gets away with it pretty well.

See, she has always worked at really nice department stores so she gets discounts on the clothes and shoes but not the bags (not sure why). So friends and people we know, know that she always dresses really nice, she is the type that always has a label on.

Since she cannot get discounted purses she buys knockoffs and everyone thinks they are real.

If you couldn't afford the real thing and there was a purse you really wanted would you buy a knockoff?

No way. Id rather carry an inexpensive no-name bag than carry a knockoff. I just wouldnt be comfortable with it. A lot of people are good at spotting knockoffs as well. I have a friend who points them out and snickers at them.

Definitely not.

Here's more discussion on the topic.

See that's how I feel about it. I am pretty good at being able to tell if a bag is a fake or not and I am not super watchful like I know some folks are.

Just sitting on the el I can tell who is carrying a fake within minutes.

And my friend pays plenty of money still for her fakes, because she says they are better quality fakes. I think she should just buy less purses and get the real ones, by the time she spends it all adds up to the same amount anyway.

It can't look like a knockoff of course but I would wear it, I have been given a nice knock off LV and no on knew it was a knock off until I said something.

lol I think if your in the position where you can't afford the real thing, and you spot a knock off and you like it. They go ahead by it and if you want to save money for the real thing then go ahead. I have clothes and purse where some are expensive and others aren't. "It's not what your wearing its how you wear it."

Oh my goodness, you couldn't have said it better. It's not what you wear but how you wear it. Because when it all boils down to it, it's just a label.
