Default Will men ever be allowed to have purses?

Ha, seriously. I know most men hate putting things in their pockets, esp cell phones. They have stuff to keep up with too - chapstick and gum.

Why can't we come up with a manly looking drawstring something? Simple and black.

That way, men would stop asking women to put things in their purses for them! ; )

haha, hmm I will have to look into a black purse with skulls and flames all over it. The strap will be made out of barbed wire. That would probably sell?

I see guys running around downtown all the time with messenger bags and don't think anything of it. I think as long as the bag is basic and doesn't get all fany and detailed like ours they look fine. Doesn't mean they should skimp on quality though.

Yes, messenger bags are a good option, but I don't think they are practical for a quick weekend outing.

True. I don't know then. I have never had a problem with the guys I have seen though, they have all been able to hang onto their stuff fine without having to toss anything into my bag or whine about what they had in their pockets.

And now that I think of it I don't think bags were any of their styles.

I think the styling of men's bags will always be limited to messenger type bags. It is funny because in France, most men carry a purse. It is called a sacoche(sp?) and looks a little more masculine, but definitely a purse.
