Amber on purses or jewelry?

Have you ever owned a purse with real amber deco? What about jewelry?

I ordered an amber necklace for my sister, but didn't realize that real amber is supposed to have imperfections. Now I'm wondering if she will like it. I also read that amber breaks down with exposure to oxygen over time.

Nope, never owned one of those.

But, I did see an amber colored lucite clutch today that I thought was very attractive. Took me a little off guard because I have never thought about a purse made from lucite.

Sad to say, I don't have one. Last year, I bought a Silver Ladies Amber Oval Link 7.5" bracelet for my mom. It was my birthday gift for her. It really looks good.
