Is it OK to give a used purse?

I am going to try something new next year. If I see something I think someone will like as a gift, I'm not going to shy away from it simply because it's used.

Used is better for the environment.

What do you think? Would you give a used purse or other gift?

Its a great idea i have friends who love bags too.So when i find the good ones i buy then then give them away to my friends.

All of my purses are slightly used because I cannot afford to buy anything new.

If you are giving it to somebody as a gift, I think it's fine to buy something used, but I also think that it should be great quality, and like new. I wouldn't give somebody a used purse that was dirty or scuffed up or anything. I think it's a good idea though.

They must be in great shape or i do not give them.I also can not afford the bags i love so ....to the Goodwill i go.

I agree with Jewel, if the purse is great quality but slightly used in great condition it is ok to go ahead and give as a gift.

But I would also consider who I was giving it too. If it was my sister or another close friend or relative fine, but if it was just a casual friend or family member I was not ubber close to I wouldn't because they might take it as a used gift instead of an ubber great find.

i think it makes perfect sense...especially if you have lots of purses but are picking up dust because you didn't have a chance to use them all. i do just the same thing but of course, i give only those that are still in good condition. i also try to picture out if i am the receiver of those and i certainly wouldn't mind if i do get to receive slightly used purses...

I agree. I love to swap purses with my friends and family.

I think it would also be a good idea to give used purses to somebody who is a purse enthusiast, but like I mentioned before, it should still be in excellent shape.

I have had purse parties before but never done a purse swap. Sounds like an awesome idea though and something my friends will definitely go for.

it is okey to give used pursed handbags as long as it is not damage or the person can still used it and still look stylish.
