Does this community approve of the sale of illegal counterfeits?
As a purist (and one who abides by most federal laws!) I wonder if fakes and their sellers are welcome here.
I noticed sales@4fashionfreaks.com is a junionr member here, but a purveyor of illegal copy-right infringing counterfeits on his / her web site.
I personally don't believe Dooney & Bourke and Rolex spend millions to produce and promote quality items, only to have them ripped off and illegally copied by thieves, flakes and charlatans.
I, of course, do not speak for the entire community here, but I do not believe that it is right to rip off another company and try to profit from it. I would not buy a bag that was illegal, and I do not condone it. Just my own personal opinion.
No we do not. We've deleted threads in the past that talked about knockoffs. This is the first I've heard of this person and he/she will be banned as soon as I can find the post.
Can you tell me where this post is?
I keep searching for "sales@4fashionfreaks.com" and "4fashionfreaks.com" but nothing comes up
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Please let me know if you see more.
On his / her site it says repeatedly that the hand-bags and watches are not 100% authentic, which to me means they're 100% counterfeit, and there-by copy-right infringing replicas.
4fashionfreaks recently sold a fake Rolex to an eBay user for $2,000; the eBay user's auction for the illegal replica was removed and the eBay user was suspended for offer a fake. The eBay user is now out $2,000 without any legal recourse.
I loathe illegal copies; I won't watch a pirated DVD or listen to an illegally copied CD. My pet peeve is counterfeit watches - I feel those who sell them are scum.
4fashionfreaks has been reported to www.IC3.gov and I hope the authorities shut him / her down for dealing in contraband.
