Default purse designers

I don't want to do this myself, but I'm curious.

How does one become a purse designer? Are they similar to fashion designers, or is it a whole other crowd?

it is the same like a designer clothing the only different is that you are designing a bag, same concept but all you just need is a creative imagination.

As far as I know, purse designer can be also called as fashion designer since purse or handbag is under the category of fashion..

To make it simple:

Fashion Designer - person who is specialized in dealing with fashion in general. He/she is focused on what clothes to wear, shoes, handbags, jewelries..

Purse Designer - it's a person who is only specialized in designing purse or handbag....

Hope my post would make things clear...
