Just came across this and it got me thinking...
The Human Cost of ‘Poverty Fighting’ Celebrities Burning $600,000+ on Handbags! » Bags, Handbags & Purses
Is it right for celebs to promote the fight against poverty, get publicity doing it, encourage others to give to charity and make sacrifices and then spend outrageous amounts on hugely expensive handbags?
I know they are entitled to buy what they want but if they are encouraging people to make a sacrifice (which is what chairty is all about) should they maybe miss that $10,000 handbag purchase and put the money to help 1000s in poverty?
What do you think?
