Default Bag Borrow or Steal?

Has anyone used this service? You pay a membership and depending on your level -- how much $$ you pay each month -- you can "borrow" or have the option to buy designer bags. Some are cute, but of course the ones I really liked are just in the expensive membership level. Also, is it worth renting a bag...seems like it would be more economical to invest in one.

oh and I seem to remember my old roommate using the service and complaining that she paid too much in shipping? Can't remember exactly.

I think it is an interesting service but I wonder if they keep their bags in good condition

Default It's Ok

I looked into it, and it is still pretty expensive. I'd rather actually own fewer purses than rent more of them temporarily. At the prices you'd pay to be part of the service, I think you could afford one or two nice bags a year.

They have various "levels" of membership, and all the good bags are in the most expensive, premium service. That, combined with shipping, the time lag between sending the bag back and getting a new one, and the waiting list for the good bags, I just didn't think it was worth it.

I suppose if you REALLY want to try out a few REALLY expensive bags, it might be a good idea, but for casual use, it wouldn't have met my needs.

I've heard of this but I've never participated... I'd rather own my own than rent one that has been who knows where...

I wouldn't want to rent a bag, I dunno. Just not interested. Plus, the service is pricey!

I didn't know there's a type of service like this! I think I won't be renting a bag. I want the bags that I use are all my own so I'm the one who takes good care of them.
