Which 'Coach' would you prefer?

I'm getting a Coach bag/purse for my girlfriend for Christmas. Just from searching online, I've got it narrowed down to two.
Which would you ladies prefer...

Hamptons Signature Small Shoulder Bag in Brass/Brown/Mahogany
or...
Coach OP Art Small Hobo in Brass/Brown

I would post pictures of them both, but as I am new to the forums I'm under the 20 post count limit and restricted from adding links and images to posts.
They're both relativity the same size, though with different shape. The Brass/Brown combination goes perfectly with her hair color.

I also considered the Lurex Top Handle Pouch by Coach in the Plum/Silver because she loves the color purple. But am I such a novice in purse/bag fashion, and I'm a guy, that I don't know if "pouches" are popular or space-convienient for women.

I may, when shopping in stores, find another that's even better than the ones I stated above but until then...
Please, any compliments, commentary, warnings for these purse/bag selections will be much appreciated.
