I received a Chanel Handbag last year for Christmas and I wish to sell it. Does anyone out there have advice as to how to verify the authenticity of the handbag? I can send other photos if it would help.
You have to check the small details---the lining, the zipper pulls, etc. There are certain trademarks each company has inside their bags. If you go into the store and look at the real Chanels you should find a distinguishing characteristic and then compare with your bag. Good luck!
Looking for authenticity with any bag IS real hard because there are alot of replicas out there...I actually used to work for a handbag company...I wish not to say... and when someone asked us if something was real we weren't allowed to tell them because then the person asking could be a person making replicas..just by looking at the smallest details...fabric...hardware...zippers...the stitching...the lining...but the best way to tell if a handbag is real is if it has a certificate of authenticity...or look for the number in the bag...good luck!
