Wearing fur

What is everyone's thought on wearing fur? Is it oh-so-glamorous, or a really damaging thing of the past? I personally love my vintage furs that my grandmother wore, but I'm a little wary of buying new fur myself.

i love the texture of furs..but im an animal lover so i have to support peta and hope fashion uses faux fur instead...
