Default salt water aquarium

Has anyone set one of these up on their own? How easy are they to maintain compared to a fresh water tank?

I have no problem with the up keep of my fresh water...but I'm really nervous about the money involved in the salt water aquariums.

I'm not entirely certain. I had a fresh water one and it took SO MUCH work. If you go to buy the supplies for a salt water tank, the sales associate at the store could fill you in.

first off...the tank you will need will have to be at least 20 gallons...second.. these days there are lots of new filters/gadgets to make it easier on you.

i have this great book called 'saltwater aquarium handbook'

i would suggest you read it

As a general rule from what I understand, salt setups are a lot harder to deal with than fresh water.
