My Precious

We have a dalmation named Precious. She's really great, but very needy as goes with the breed. Plus you really have to be careful what you leave in the back yard, she does love to chew, lol. I wouldn't trade her for anything though, she just always makes me smile, one way she does it is by smiling herself. Have you ever seen a dog smile? I never had before her, it's quite a site and takes some getting used to. And she doesn't just wag her tail, when she sees us she wags her whole body! She can get really mean with other animals, she just simply hates them, but she does know how to mess with the neighbor dogs, it's so funny to watch. I mean seriously she tricks them into thinking she is going to run up to the fence, they get excited and then she stops and turns around. It's just to funny. Please tell me about your pets.

Precious sounds like a wonderful dog! Can you post pics of her smile??? I'd love to see it - I'm sure it'll make me smile, too!

We are still working on getting a pic of her smiling, but we do have some nice ones of her, please tell me how to post them? I know that sounds like a newbie question, but I've never put a pic up in a forum before.

i do believe you when u say ur pet smiles because i have one dog who smiles in pictures too!!!!

I just uploaded a pic of Precious onto my profile. It's so cute, she lays on top of her dog house, kind of reminds of us of Snoopy, lol.

It is a cute dog, but when I hear the name Precious, I can't help but think of Gollum from The Lord of the Rings "My Prrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeciousssssssssssss!"

It sounds like you have a wonderful pet! I have always been a little afraid of dalmations, though. I remember my vet told me they were seriously inbred now. My friend had one. She had to put him down. Someone came up and pet her dog, and Jazz (the dalmation) bit her entire tip of her nose completely off. It doesn't sound like yours is aggressive at all.

I thought the same thing when I read the name. I guess I will always hear "Precious" and think of Gollum. "Keep it secret- keep it safe!"

Now that is a dog for the sassy type of girl. I have always wanted a dalmation but they are expensive and hard to take care of despite what others may say.
