Default Urinary Tract Infection

My poor cat has had two UTIs in the last year, unfortunately, and both times we have had surgery on him to remove the blockage. Surgery costs more than $1,000 each time. It's ridiculous, but my cat is completely worth it. Has anybody else had similar problems?

We had one cat this year with a kidney infection. He's about 16, and he bounced back well, although he has a kidney disease. He's been eating the proper food, and has put some weight back on.

Sadly, just as that cat was recovering, one of our younger cats became ill with renal failure, and had to be put to sleep.
We don't know what happened with her.

I hope your cat stays healthy, Jewel.

Thanks for the good wishes, I am sorry to hear about your younger cat. It is hard to lose a pet. We almost lost ours twice, luckily we were able to get the surgery going for him.
