Chinchilla!

Has anyone here ever owned a chinchilla? They look like fun pets but they cost upwards of $200. I am conflicted over whether or not to purchase one.

MHJ, consider wearing chinchilla! ....their fur is fabulously soft.

I love chinchilla, it is far and away my favorite fur. I wore a chinchilla last winter on my NYC trip, it was Heavenly!

Take it from me, the vet will rape you with chinchilla bills.

You can expect trouble if you buy a $200 chinchilla. Study the breeder and anyone selling a Chinchilla of any age for less than $ 1800.00 is not a chinchilla breeder. Chinchilla hacks should be reported to your local veterinarian
