Default What do you think of people who force veggie diet on their pets?

I think it's mean since cats especially need meat for essential nutrients that are difficult to get from vitamins. I can't really believe some people do this. If you have such a problem with eating meat, then you should not have a pet that requires meat to be healthy. Right?

I tend to agree. I think that the pet's health should come first. Obviously some pets like rabbits would probably be fine with a vegetarian diet.

But can you imagine trying to content a Rottweiler with a tofu salad?

No, I can't imagine that.

Several places make veggie canned or dry food.

I can't imagine feeding my cat, Star a veggie diet. She loves her Whiskas chicken.
