Clean Doggy Mouths

I always heard that dogs had the cleanest mouths, ever? Well, at least cleaner mouths than humans, maybe not ever? I forget. But I know that I heard they have cleaner mouths than humans!

How do they have cleaner mouths than humans?! ...If this is true of course? I mean they drink out of the toilet, dirty food and water bowls sometimes, eat things their not supposed to, dig holes in your backyard probably using their mouth, and they don't even brush their teeth! Oh, AND they eat dog bones?! Yuck!

So how are dogs in any way supposed to have a cleaner mouth that a human? I haven't seen a human drinking out of a toilet, eating out of a big dirty food and water bowl, eating small animals they kill, and digging holes in backyards?!

Anybody know the truth of this matter? I want to know!
