Burberry Sliced Check Beaton. The futuristic silver is certainly unusual paired with the traditional plaid, almost confusing in its translation from paper to product. Somehow, it doesn’t work, although the idea is interesting. The large buckle looks odd on the bag’s gathered top, and the silver seems to clash with the print. It
may have worked better with a more subdued bronze or gold, although it’s hard to tell when faced with the vision of blinding tinfoil. There’s a definite audience for this offbeat bag, though. If you’re a purveyor of the uncommon accessory, you may love it.
