Kate Spade Cape Cod Pailette Maya is in fact a refreshing addition to the designer’s collection. The
bag is brightened considerably with green leather trim, a color that pairs perfectly with the red, black and white hues dominating the rest of the exterior. A playful fishnet print is made sophisticated with rich gold hardware and a structured handle - the latter is a great contrast to the otherwise amorphous bag shape. And truth be told, those red lobsters aren’t such a shabby detail. It’s a fine lesson in implementing a bit of kitsch without going overboard. Consider it a perfect companion for a springtime retreat to the lakeside.
