Much as I love the exotic vibe that paisley exudes, I’m not feeling the latest offering from Etro. The Paisley Tassel Hobo is a mess. This lizard-embossed leather trim is gorgeous, with a red-brown shade that’s sophisticated and low-key. In the middle, though, is a paisley-printed fabric in shades of red, green and blue, topped off with a brown- and tan-leather buckle. The paisley looks like it was ripped off a throw pillow from granny’s couch. My advice? Save your $995 for something else. Available at neimanmarcus.com.
