Paris Fashion Runway Report: Dries Van Noten Handbags

Don’t look for any standard leather handbags from Dries Van Noten, as the label’s Paris ready-to-wear collection included several avant-garde bags. Nylon and quilting was a common thread in the somewhat shapeless black bags the models sullenly held under their arms (not using the straps). Slim black and brown bags were also shown, but overall the collection revealed some experimental and futuristic designs and materials.

I really like the quilting on the black bag. Gives it a little interest without going crazy.

this is a winning collection. the pieces (the bags, the clothes) are very fashion forward...it's monotoned but not boring.

I'm all for large handbags, but some of these are HUGE! I don't think I could carry it once it was loaded up.
