The handbags shown at Giorgio Armani’s Milan ready-to-wear show may not have broken new ground design-wise, but it’s Armani - we want classic and sophisticated, not cutting-edge. And Armani delivered. Most of the bags were clutches, which came in a variety of styles and colors and sizes, including a gorgeous pale lavender version and a large handheld cream version with gathered fabric. Of the larger shoulder bags he did, a pale gray bag was both elegant and incredibly soft-seeming. Like all of Armani’s work, these glamorous bags are guaranteed to stand the test of time.

i think in this collection th e handbags took a backseat to the clothes. the clutches were overshadowed by armani's cool and classic clothes with that touch of 'ice queen' demeanor...
