Milan Runway Report: D&G Handbags
By: Erin D.
The boys at
D&G are living large, and so are the enormous handbags the models lugged down the runway at their recent
Milan ready-to-wear show. Giant black and red patent leather bags with gold hardware ruled the runway, but they are obviously better for traveling or, say, hiding a dead body than going to the mall, unless you happen to be a bodybuilder. D&G also showed slightly smaller versions in wild fur animal prints, capitalizing on one of the season’s biggest trends. Smaller red patent leather travel cases and navy bags with flashy gold chains also made an appearance and gave off a slight nautical vibe.
