Take it from Wesley Snipes: Always bet on black. At least that’s what Elie Saab did for its latest Paris ready-to-wear show, where a stunning array of black bags strutted down the runway. Saab proved that you don’t necessarily need bold colors to liven up a handbag. Instead, the bags utitlized hip and modern touches like patent leather, textured leather, weaving, and shimmery material that made everything ooze sex. From tiny satin clutches to large frame bags with dominatix-like leather handles, the Elie Saab bags were in my opinion one of the highlights of the Paris collections (and the gowns were gorgeous too!).
i didn't know elie saab had handbags too overall, this was a hit collection. the bags and the clothes are all impressive. that first bag/first picture has a unique design..i wish i could have a better look at it though. elie saab's designs are always sophisticated. the use of black leather is sooo sexy
