Roberto Cavalli’s Milan ready-to-wear runway collection had a slight safari influence to it; and the
handbags followed suit by boasting natural colors and long utilitarian shoulder straps that crossed over the body. Cavalli also showed hints of animal skin and artistic little handheld clutches with gathered, textured leather in shades of black, green, and red. I especially liked the rich chestnut brown tote one model carried; it was exquisitely made but completely versatile.
