Stella McCartney Patent Messenger Bag

I give Stella McCartney props for designing this Patent Messenger Bag with faux patent leather (so no animals were harmed in the making of this handbag), but I’m not sure if the bag itself is all that great. The olive green color is a little too army barracks for my taste, a vibe emphasized by the bulky cell-phone holder attached to the shoulder straps, which reminds me of cargo pants. I think if the bag had been done in a different color it would look hipper, but here it comes across as visually unappealing.
