Lest there were any doubt,
Lanvin’s Gourmet Bag hammers the point home:
Chain straps are big right now. Here the chain is made of silver nickel, and combined with the black leather flat bag it’s attached to, it presents a sort of high-fashion take on recycled street fashion (think black garbage bags and soda can tabs). That’s not a bad thing though - it just gives this simple but edgy handbag a punky, industrial vibe that most $1,300 bags just can’t fake. The bag also comes in beige and has the signature Lanvin medallion.
