I usually love the Italian Boys… Dolce and Gabbana usually come up with elegantly European fashion favorites that are fun, but sophisticated. However, I really don’t know what the intention was on this Calfskin Shopper with Oversized Buckle. The oversized buckle just looks ill proportioned. The huge funky letters hanging off the side in the same color just looks cluttered and pointless. They remind me of the spongy toy letters that toddlers like to chew on… Luella Bartley had the leather cut-out charms on her handbags, but they enhanced the overall look. Here, this bag looks like it is trying to pick up a junior customer but overshooting to the children with a poorly chosen color palette.
