I don’t care how exquisite, glamorous, eye-catching, unforgettable or radiant this bag is. The fact remains that the Ralph Lauren Jeweled Clutch is about as large as a pen holder. Okay, maybe a bit larger than that, but at only 2″ high, this thing sure won’t hold very much. It’s got a very “night at the opera” feel about it, and just gazing at it, one gets the feeling it should only be carried by an opera glove-clad hand. The bag is wrapped in satin and covered with a complex overlay of shimmering crystal and rhodium-plated metal. Hmmm. Maybe it should just lay in a museum instead. Available for $3400 at Ralph Lauren.
