I’m usually a big fan of Sissi Rossi’s relaxed, washed leather handbags, but this Flat Washed Leather Messenger tote is a bit too relaxed and distressed-looking for me. The black washed leather is really long and comes with a top flap, leather handles, and an adjustable shoulder strap, as well as nickel hardware and a long front zipper opening. I think the black hue gives it a crinkly garbage bag-like quality, and, while totally practical and utilitarian, lacks that high-end, polished quality that we’re used to seeing.
