Derek Lam has taken a huge departure from his slouchy hobo bags (and their adorable ram hardware) with this much smaller Izzy Chain Handle Bag. Though the square form is more traditional and ladylike than the hobos, the patent leather (done in beige and mauve) keeps it youthful and trendy. The bag’s topstitching adds dimension and the chain handle - a big trend of late - stays unique by using long gold beads rather than links. I also adore the gold logo plate on the bag’s front flap - tres chic!
